...at The M.E.K. Initiative, we are guided by the Christian principle of being our brother's keeper, a truth deeply ingrained in the heart of our founder, Landry. Born in Lomé, Togo, in the mid-80s, Landry's upbringing in Togo and Cote d'Ivoire instilled in him a profound sense of community and care for others. His bond with his childhood best friend, Efoe, whose initials spell out M.E.K., epitomized selfless love and companionship, reflecting Christ's commandment to love one another as He has loved us.
Tragically, Efoe's battle with cancer ended prematurely on May 6, 2010, marking the end of their physical presence together. Landry, inspired by Efoe's legacy of compassion and unity, founded The M.E.K. Initiative on the tenth anniversary of his passing. Our company is dedicated to honoring Efoe's memory by spreading love, fostering creativity, and promoting meaningful expression of the gifts given to each individual from our good and gracious heavenly Father.
Landry, supported by his wife Mary-C, their family, and cherished ones who share their Christian values, leads our daily operations. Despite geographical distances, we are united in spirit, bound by a common desire to make a positive impact in the world.
As a family-driven enterprise, The M.E.K. Initiative is committed to providing content and products that inspire and uplift. We invite you to join us on this journey of faith, love, and artistic expression. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to reach out.
In Christ's love and solidarity,
The Lawsons
